From November 2022, the new publisher of the journal is The Netherlands Press.
In 2016 year, the journal Metallurgical and Materials Engineering has been added to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), a community-curated online directory that indexes and provides access to high-quality, open-access, peer-reviewed journals.
In 2023 the journal has been included in the Journal Citation Report 2022 (Web of Science), with IF: 0.9, ranking 79 out of 90 in the Metallurgy & Metallurgical Engineering category. Since the 2017 year, the journal Metallurgical and Materials Engineering has been included in the EMERGING SOURCES CITATION INDEX (journal list) - Thomson Reuters. Considering high ethical standards, we will try to maintain and improve the quality of our journal.
In the 2019 year, the journal Metallurgical and Materials Engineering is indexed in SCOPUS, Elsevier's largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature.
According to the categorization of Serbian scientific journals in the field of materials and chemical technologies from the 2014 year, the journal Metallurgical and Materials Engineering is in the M24 category.
